The bare minimum requirement is they should be displaying a harbour board sticker(£40-ish so not mega-expensive). Although the harbour board like to have boats on the water on moorings, not cluttering up the beach. Doug has, in true piratical fashion ripped the notices off his boat and as in previous years told the harbourmaster to bugger off. I'm not sure he'll get away with it this year, there's a concerted effort to cleanse the city with the Americas cup coming to town next month. Can't have all those millionaires thinking they can just put boats on the beach instead of expensive marinas! :-)Mark The Skint Sailorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04892877003107509621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034021522087099008.post-86030263097314157512015-06-25T00:48:15.867+01:002015-06-25T00:48:15.867+01:00Doug won't give up his boat(s) so easily. Desp...Doug won't give up his boat(s) so easily. Despite being ancient and not in the best of health he refuses to swallow the anchor. Good on him I say. He's down at the beach on an almost daily basis.

I like the look of the snapdragon myself, but the owner has been on the boat, albeit not in the last 6 months or so. But there's a higher risk of him coming back and claiming it seeing as its in decent nick. I'm not sure the drop keel works too well on it though which is probably why I haven't seen him sail it.
Mark The Skint Sailorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04892877003107509621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4034021522087099008.post-87725704299496864682015-06-24T20:43:53.483+01:002015-06-24T20:43:53.483+01:00Doug won't give up his boat(s) so easily.
