Nice little video Mark - but as I commented to Steve on his Blog, the wind noise is out of all proportion to its actual strength - sounds like a hurricane when it's only about 10 knots. Does the same on my videos, wish I knew how to cure that! Wrap the camera in wool?
Alden, the only way of reducing wind noise is to use a camera with a separate mic fitted with a wind sock. It's virtually impossible to get the same sound quality with a mobile phone.
There are a few tricks like keeping the phone out of the worst wind, but the slightest breeze like you say sounds like a gale.
